| An Automated Fixture that detects the presence of hood bungee cords. Each body is stopped in front of the fixture on a lift table. The fixture then "reaches out" and aligns the body relative to the fixture. after checking alignment of the body, the fixture begins its routine of checking for the presence of bungee cords. if a bungee is detected, a signal is sent to a remote PLC and an alarm is triggered. The body will not travel untill an operator verifys that the bungee has been removed. Once the unit passes the check, the unit is released from the lift table back to the conveyor. | ||
